Polysiloxane Powder Hydrophobic Agent

Encapsulates hydrophilic additives in a hydrophobic shell. Spray-dried siloxane powder with water-soluble colloids and anti-caking agents accelerates wetting (faster than conventional latex powders).

This product is developed based on a technology encapsulating hydrophilic additives within a hydrophobic shell. It is a siloxane-based powder product obtained by spray-drying silicones coated with water-soluble protective colloids and anti-caking agents. This method accelerates the wetting process of hydrophobic agent powders (even faster than conventional redispersible latex powders).

By ingeniously combining two reverse-phase polymers in this manner, we can efficiently achieve uniform mixing of hydrophobic mortars in shorter time periods. This technology enables customers to formulate dry-mix mortar products with superior hydrophobic performance.
